Double Bass NS Design WAV or NXT?

Well, my tuner is 1M, but dang, the multi-effects I've been using is only 470k!

Simply put the tuner as the first unit after the EUB piezo output. It doesn't matter that anything following the tuner has a smaller input impedance.

A simple, but effective and cheap impedance buffer with a high pass filter (to remove low rumbling stuff making the sound more clear) is the HPFpre (model 1 or 2 for DB and EUB), hand made by Talkbass member Francis Deck. He has a website for ordering, just search for HPFpre and Francis Deck with Google. The HPFpre has a 10 MegOhms input impedance which might be even better than your tuners 1 MegOhms input impedance for that kind of passive piezo equipped EUB.
