Double Bass NS EMG Height Adjustment

… I searched but haven't found how to adjust the height of the mag' pickups.

Are there better description than on the NS site?

"Adjacent to each individual pickup is an adjusting set screw. Loosen the set screw to adjust the pickup to the desired height. The US and EU models are spring loaded while CR models are not. On the CR models, the adjustment set screw is threaded into a small housing next to the larger pickup coil. Tighten the set screw to lock pickup height in place."

That's basically it. Use an allen wrench to loosen the set screw that's next to the pickup you want to adjust. Once it's loose, you're going to have to manually raise/lower the pickup (as it said, they're not spring loaded), and then tighten it. I've found if you use a bow at all, this makes it a little harder as the rosin residue finds its way around the pickup, so you "gotta want it."

The set screw is located in the smaller black housing that, depending on the pickup, is either above or below it.

The set screws on my CR4-M are on the bridge side of the small cylinders. It is an allen screw that when the allen wrench is on it, the wrench will be at a upward angle in relation to the strings. Hard to explain!
