Indeed. I too am in Canada and I find it cheaper to buy from BSO. Several sets can be put into one package amortizing the shipping over more units. As well, I have yet to have the post office collect the taxes.

Give me free health care and I'd have zero problem paying 44 dollars for strings.

yup, just got back from L & you know who .....Chromes are $45.75+13% tax = $51.70
D'add's Tape wound $49.25 *1.13 = $55.65

eeesh

and I don't want to discourage any online shopping, but US prices plus 30% exchange plus delivery comes out almost the same

I got my Fender 9050CL Flats a couple of months ago from an online retailer who had a special promo for "free shipping worldwide on orders of any size"

$21.99 USD and the exchange worked out to be around $28 CAD. No other fees, taxes or duties.
