NTMB+ hiss?

Hey guys, been working on trying to rid of this noise for past couple weeks, at first I thought maybe it was my pedal board but now I am thinking its my bass. I've changed out all my cables. The sound is running from bass through VP, to strymon el cap to ditto mini looper and into scarlett solo interface. They are all on their own seperate power supply.

Here is a sound sample of the noise. Starts of with a loop sample I made and then at the end just the bass with no loop. The looper def multiplies the noise.

But back to the bass I have it set up with NTMB + I installed awhile ago, I recently opened it up and re soldered everything just to make sure, When I originally soldered everything to one the the pots I did put a lot of solder on there, not sure that would affect this at all though. picture below. The noise occurs as soon as volume knob is turned on/up and is constant whether I am touching the bass or not.

You can try adjusting the internal gain on the NTMB. Hiss is a normal occurrence with any active electronics(especially with treble boosted). The amount depends on design compromises and gain staging.

The hiss is pretty noticeable but doesn't sound like anything is faulty. Ideally you want a strong clean signal at the beginning of the chain. You can try running passive as well. That's where I eventually land when I'm playing solo. I hate hiss but like clear extended highs. It can be a challenge without the right pickups and signal chain.

How does it sound with the bass plugged directly into the scarlett?
