Double Bass NXTa strings

Hi to all,
Just bought a NXTa EUB and the sound is great. Stock strings are light strings. I have a spare set of accoustic D'Addario hybrid strings in good condition.
If I install those hybrid strings on the NXTa, how will they affect the sound?

Most likely any strings will improve it. I went from the stock Contemporaries to the Traditionals, which were better, to Obligatos. The deadness of synthetic core strings works well on solid body EUB's. That said I don't have any experience with those hybrids. There are a lot of string discussion here and good info at Gollihur Music.
