Sez me: Neil Pearlman has achieved that which we all seek, a personal voice on the instrument. Neil is a sophisticated modern jazz pianist and a nationally-recognized figure in the world of Celtic folk music. The complete, seamless, organic integration of these traditions lets Neil avoid cliche to create unique and moving music.

I also think highly of my son Dylan as a musician. Since I'm his Dad I'll leave the superlatives to your imagination.

These are two old friends who create deep improvised music which is easy to hear. Go see 'em!

It is a weird and beautiful thing to watch my children surpass me.

    I am a lucky dad.

Yeah, though. These guys played in Portland a couple of weeks ago and the music really is special. You won't be sorry when you go!
