Good article. True for many if not most of us. Worth noting, most bluegrass and other improvisational genre has a local flavor that is not duplicated in other regions, so the descriptions from the article apply all over the continent, and for that matter, the world.
I'd also mention, there are a number of online musical jam-based communities that are flourishing in JamKazam despite the pandemic -- in fact they really are flourishing because of the pandemic. A number of threads here in TB/DB address that.

That was a fun read in spite of the reasons causing the jam to hit pause. Like everywhere, ours has too...and we are all itching to play.
