Now I know that this is my second TB account(couldn't remember the password for my old one or the confusing jumbled up Yes song name, ha), but I wasn't very active on my first one anyway and I intend to participate more this time around. In a couple days I will have been playing bass for 4 years, since I got my first one on my 14th birthday and then taught myself for a little while. My current rig is a MIM 70's reissue P bass that's been modded heavily with things like a Babicz bridge, a Lindy Fralin pickup in the P position, and a Bartolini jazz in the newly-routed J position, etc... going into an Aguilar Tone Hammer 500 head with 2 Hartke cabs, that I can't remember the model name of because I didn't buy them, they just came into my possession one Christmas because a veteran bassist friend was very generous. I've played in a handful of metal bands, which was fun, but I haven't played in any original bands in over a year now. Not to say I haven't participated in any other projects, but anyway yeah hey guys, I'm looking forward to lurking on here whenever I want to talk about basses, which is often.
