OC2 volume loss.

I played around with my OC-2 yesterday and noticed that it seems to be more quiet than my clean signal when octave 1 is turned all the way up. Is this normal? I know I could also turn the dry signal up, but I like the sound of octave 1 itself a lot more than both signals mixed.
I use the OC2 in the loop of my Wonderlove (set to buffered bypass) with a P-Bass, Ampeg PF500 and selfmade 115 cab.

If you only ever solo the Oct-1, there is an easy mod that can be done that will raise the volume slightly- but it involves cutting the output connections of one or both of the clean signal and Oct-2 down, so you have to make sure that you don't need to use those! You could add a switch that would cut those leads or return it to stock with a flip though...Actually I just found a mod that simply raises some resistor values to boost the volume (note that I haven't tried either of these mods): Invalid Link Removed
