Occasional electric buzz

Nowadays I occasionally get electric buzz through my amps (MB200, MB500, Fender Rumble 30, etc.) even with humbucking pickups in my music room. Would a power conditioner help?

Yup. That's the Morse Code effect. Turn off the cell phone.

My last band practiced in a garage with fluorescent lights. Nasty.

It's not a low hum. It's constant, high-pitched zzzzzzzzz, similar to the noise that you hear with a bass that has faulty grounds.
