OD's

so, whats a nice od/light fuzz pedal that blends a wet/dry signal all in the one unit

Since you have claimed to enjoy the sound of a Tubescreamer, I'd suggest a the Voodoo Labs Sparkle Drive. It's a Tubescreamer circuit with a blend.

Light fuzz with a clean blend doesn't exist. The Depth Charge and Bass Octave Fuzz are very extreme. The only fuzz I've laid hands on that I'd call "light" in the Frantone Lotone. It does not have a blend though.

In regards to your question...

With a high-output preamp on your bass (i.e., an active system of some sort), a SansAmp Bass Driver DI (a.k.a., the BDDI) can achieve both overdrive and a mild fuzz.

Using the BDDI's Blend knob allows you to mix wet and dry signals to your liking.

I also recently tried the Ezekiel. I didn't sound bad, but it was crazy expensive. The OD sounds pretty good, the distortion sounds pretty good. The last 2 modes just sounded liked bassier and bassiest versions of the distortion. I couldn't get a real fuzz sound out of it.

I also have the 4ms Duo Distorter. Very cool pedal, but pretty extreme.
