off I go to Alaska....

I finally left last Wednesday. Doing around 450 miles a day and in Fort Nelson, BC now. My God, there is nothing out here, no civilization, no cell towers, wifi in the towns but nothing in-between which makes my wife go mad, but some beautiful scenery. I was stupidly traveling too close to dusk and hit a mama moose. She's fine as I was pretty much stopped when I tapped her butt (she ran for cover OK with her baby). SUV was fine also. Those beasts are massive!
