After years of GAS and searching for the perfect effect to use for various occasions I finally found a system that works for me. I bought a Boss GT-1B and added a FS-6 so I could use it as a stomp box alternative. The SansAmp is used mainly for places I go where I need an XLR out. It also lets me tweak my sound on the fly.
It replaced the "perfect tone" pedals I have bought and sold over the years.
I don't use pedals often, but when the song calls for an effect I can duplicate it or at least reach a close proximity. I play at church where we try to reproduce the sounds of various artists as realistically as we can. I also play in a rock band where I may need to add an overdrive or delay for one or two songs in a set.
