Off the wall band names

I was in a college band named Smokey Dubois and the High Rollers. Dubois is correctly pronounced doo bwah, we were stoners.
Lee Harvey and the Oswalds
The Lone Gunmen
Frank Morris and the Escapees
Morch Punkies
Anatomical Gift
Shotgun Lobotomy
Gary Frances and the Powers
The Pluck Uglies

And thought PBR Streetgang would be cool, until I found out it was taken.

Years ago I put together a one time band for a bar gig.....everyone wanted to know the name, so after a few rounds of JD, we announced ourselves as "accidental goat sodomy". we got more than a few chuckles outta that!

There was a local band a while ago called 'The Gun Running Amish' as well as one that used to be call 'Ten Cent Wings' that started many years ago (they eventually changed their name to 'Ten Sent Wings' for "some reason")....

I want to start a band that does bluegrass versions of 80's tunes and call it Astroturf.

Old guy stuff, I've never heard either band, but these 2 stick in my noggin as interesting:
Tonto's Expanding Headband
Frumious Bandersnatch ( I believe Ross Valory/Journey, was in this band, there's your semi-obligatory bass content).

There's a northeast Ohio band called The Hostile Amish. They're a punk band, and they churn butter on stage, inviting their fans to join them. After their show is done, they distribute the butter in their own small plastic tubs. Complete with the band's logo on the top, and perfect size to keep various herbs fresh or your powder dry- if you get my drift.

Also when I was in high school one of my teachers was always talking about going to see a Beach Boys type band called Phil Dirt and the Dozers.

Then the ever funny Buster Hymen and the Penetrators.

Also, Stone Temple Pilots. Heard that they were ogirinally called Shirley Temple's Pu$$y but the record company made them change it. Also Pearl Jam (allegedly a band member's aunt Pearl who made peyote jelly), Alice in Chains, Candlebox, and Soundgarden. All grunge bands, and who the hell cared what they were called?

Next band I'm in is going to be called Obscure Pop Culture Reference.

There was a band here in Oz by the name of "The Fabulous Zarsoff Brothers"

Their stage names were Rudi, Bluey, Bernie and Terry if my memory is correct.

edit. This probably won't translate to Americanish pronunciation due to the different sound of ass compered to arse..... you'll need to think of it as the Zassoff Brothers and you should get the joke.
