Off the wall band names

Dude and Ron and Me (you have to say it fast and have at least a little biblical knowledge)
Moonlight Big Daddy Nuts and a Bunch of Guys Named Moe
Larry Darryl Darryl

All names that bands I have been in have considered, if only for the time that the initial giggle wore off.

Dixie Wrecked.

That's a blast from the past. :)

A long time ago, I was playing in one of our regular-rotation Honky-Tonks (that's an old generic term for a smoky Country/Western Dance Hall, for those who may not know), back when I was a tender twenty-something, and our frontman/lead-singer had his fiancee's parents in the audience for their first-ever excursion to see what their future son-in-law did for a living. (Fiancee was a total Baby-Doll and a prim-and-proper woman from a Northeast US Blue-Blood family)...

Song Requests were fairly routinely passed to the stage as hand written notes on napkins or such, and they were funneled to previously mentioned Frontman (he was a really good guy).

Some trickster in the audience sent up a dozen-or-so notes requesting for us to play "My Dixie Wrecked".

Well.. He ignored it as long as he could, and then finally, in frustration, on mic, he told the whole house: "Buddy, I don't know My Dixie Wrecked, the band doesn't know My Dixie Wrecked, I don't think I've ever heard My Dixie Wrecked...

He "got" the joke a couple seconds later. :D

I actually kept the old band-room cork-board that one of the notes got pinned to, as a momento of a funny night... :)
