Offal / organ meat - Yum? Or no?

I've only met one sausage on earth I didn't like (Braunschweiger), and lots of sausages have some funky parts in them. Doesn't matter, I'll eat it and like it.

You gotta try that Korean "Sausage". God I love that stuff, though I don't know the name. Basically you take the intestines from a large animal, and stuff them full of the guts that were sharing the body cavity with the aforementioned intestines. Then fry it up with a bunch of hot pickled veggies!

It's truly disgusting in a very, very good way!!

I dunno. Maybe the spinal cord bits?

Mmmmm....

But, I really don't know.

Spinal cord bits? Or you mean the individual vertebrae (which is bone so I don't see the problem there)? Who's preparing your oxtail? Get yourself to Jamaica, imediately. Or Toronto, since we have so many mom-and-pop Jamaican shops. Ohhhh oxtail..... Curry goat... Dubbles...

And I'm hungry.

a digression into foods that gross me out,...I could probably handle offal if it was all there was to eat,...what about Invalid Link Removed,......*gag* then *shudder*

And with your avatar, laddie, I want to ask what you think of haggis … ;)

Sure enough Casu Marzu is better.

*puts safety glasses on for dinner*
OMG!!!

Because the larvae in the cheese can launch themselves for distances up to 15 centimetres (6 in) when disturbed, diners hold their hands above the sandwich to prevent the maggots from leaping into their eyes. Those who do not wish to eat live maggots place the cheese in a sealed paper bag. The maggots, starved for oxygen, writhe and jump in the bag, creating a "pitter-patter" sound. When the sounds subside, the maggots are dead and the cheese can be eaten.

I WANT THAT !!!!

We played a new (to us) venue last weekend. It was out in the sticks, about 20 miles south of town.

I can officially say that the best darned chicken gizzards I have ever had are from Hilliards Corner bar in Hilliards Michigan! I've always soaked gizzards in Tabasco sauce and sucked them down. Out in the sticks, they come with ranch dressing as a dippin sauce. I don't know if the ranch dressing made all the difference in the world or not, but I'll get the gizzards there before I order a steak!

MMmmmmmm Goooooooood!
