That’s a husband and wife team and both are childhood friends of mine. I’m happy they are doing well!
I love the wood grain patterns on many of those basses.
IMHO, the problem is price. I can buy terrific Fender, Schecter, Charvel, and a few others for less. I suspect reselling an Offbeat bass would be slow and costly. Breaking into the musical instruments business is rough. There are so many quality basses and guitars below $1,000. It's hard for me to get excited about spending $1,466 to $2,425 on a new bass. I'll wait for them to show up on Reverb for 50% of the retail price.

Obviously, as the guy who just bought one, I hope you’re wrong. I will say that it seems like they use all of the highest quality parts and the reviews Tell me they’re very well constructed. Lobster compared their basses to the most expensive Fenders and thought they were a better deal. I have been eyeing them for a while, but wasn’t going to purchase until there was a solid sale so I paid less than an American Ultra. We’ll see.
I sincerely hope you're right. Either way, I hope you enjoy your new bass. I look forward to reading about your impressions.
