than you for the number. I got the bass Tuseday. It it real nice. I love the fact that I can reach the higher frets. I love how well this bass plays. I need to do a set up the A string buzzes like crazy. As for the sound I think I need to play it more to get it right, take it to practice and a gig or two. I have two Thunderbirds, a Flying V and a Samick (this is my drunk bass or beater) and the Mockingbird is more comfortable near the the body. The finish is very good but one of the nobs has some sloppy paint on it and a little scratch too. Easy fix. The only issue I have with the with the bass is the neck dive. Holy ****, if I let go of the neck and it wants to hit the floor. Having two thunderbirds you think I would be use to it. The 1st T-bird had a bad neck dive, I fixed it by moving the stap button, the 2nd did not have that problem. I will be moving it tomorrow when I have more time. I think if I move it closer to the center of the neck where the body and neck meet this should fix it. I seen some guy on Youtub do the same but he also moves the other one as well. I think I will move one first and see if that does the trick. I don't want to many holes in it. I love the big pick ups very mean looking.
I would leave it alone, and use your left forearm to balance the bass, it's what Mock owners do
Also, putting the front strap button in the middle of the neck gets in the way of people who like to noodle up there, I wouldn't buy a bass that had it's strap button moved there

Sorry to hear about that. Hadn't been on there in a while, logged on a short while ago and noticed a lot gone.
Mine has 2 allen bolts per string to adjust up or down. You can always file the nut too. Otherwise??? I'd just take it to a good guitar shop.
This looks to be quite the deal considering they're typically closer to $2K. Did the market on these just crash?

It's weird really. I've been seeing a white Mockingbird on GBase go for $1250 and a white Mock on Ebay going for $1325, plus a white Warlock going for $1500 at BiN.
I mean I guess it's a good thing the prices are dropping; I've been interested in an older USA Rich for a long time and if this is the trend I might be getting closer to one.

Very cool man, I think the crackle really compliments the maple fretboard! very cool.
Here's a picture of the back plate. Its hard to read so I'll have to check it when I get home. I want to say BCI1739 based on the picture.

I took my new Mockingbird ST to band parctice on Satureday for the first time and it Rocks! I got there early and jamed with the drummer for a half hour until the guitar player showed up and rocked for 3 songes and a half than my amp died. It sounded great for that little jam. I am now a BC Rich believer. The guitar player thinks that those big pickups put the final nail in old reliable coffin.
I was watching that and tried my hardest to resist (it was up there three times!), but....
It sounds, feels, and plays amazing! Already had it out at a gig last Saturday and loved every minute of it.
