Official 2015 NHL Playoffs Thread

Bolts win 6-5 in OT. Amazingly, I believe the scoring could have been higher except for some outstanding goaltending at both ends. It seems everyone on the ice wanted to play offense and nobody was left playing D. But yet another truly fun hockey game as a spectator.

In my not so humble opinion, this is the best, most exciting NHL playoffs that I've had the pleasure to watch (I've been going to Hawks games since the early 70's). And every series just keeps getting better.

Want to see Chi v. NY in the finals.

I sure can't stand another west coast - east coast series again.

What a wonderful weekend! What a wonderful day! Is anyone here old enough to remember the "Double Header"? I'm in the midst of one right now! Of course, the NHL doesn't host double headers...but the DVR is a wonderful thing!!!
We left for deep in the North Georgia Mountains early Friday afternoon...way out of reach of 'media'...no phone...no nuthin'...:) and I left the DVR programmed to record the Friday night Rangers' game...which I watched this afternoon when we got home...tired and dirty and smelly and thoroughly happy! Two daze and nights with both our grand daughters!!!
So, I've watched Friday night's 5-1 Rangers victory! and I'm 2/3 of the way into tonight's second game!

Dear Ben Bishop,
PLEASE continue to fart around with the puck...
Thank you, sincerely,
A Life-Long New York Rangers' fan...

We'll give em hell on Tuesday night!
3-2...I'll probably even wear my RED Rangers' jersey...
I kinda gathered you were taping some of these, glad no one spoiled the scores for you.

Am i the only one that thought the teams looked a little tired yesterday? Like maybe the grind and the travel are catching up. Was still a good game, seemed to miss some of the snap we have seen in other games.

NO! You're not the only one who saw that, but I thought I saw it first in the Friday night game. I sensed what we used to call 'heavy legs' as soon as they came out for the 2nd period. I saw it to a lesser degree on Sunday night...and you're right, this is a freakin' Grind. We have no idea how tired and wounded every one of these guys is...and I (of course) see this going 7 games and then perhaps 7 more! I've said it before, but I'm reminded every time I watch: these are the greatest athletes in the world!

Awoke from a very vivid and frightening dream. I had fallen asleep with the Rangers-Lightening game on. It was late in the 3rd and Tampa was up 11 - 3 or something horrible like that. They were still swarming Hank with shot after shot.

It was horrible.
