Official Aguilar Owners Numbers Club

Welcome "FunWithBass" ! You are Official Aguilar Owners Numbers Club member number 203 :) .

I usually bring a pair of 12's or 15's just because I have them - but they can get stoopid loud. How does that single 12 hold up against a rock band? :)

I use a pair of GS112's with a GK MB800 for most gigs. Why not have the headroom just in case you need it? Just keep it turned down and that way you still have the fullness of the 2x12's working without straining. Stack them vertical and you have the top driver closer to your ear so you can hear yourself on stage.

Oh what the hell. I’m a big Aguilar lover. Here’s a wood shedding shot of my TH500 and DB112 cabs. And a shot of a recent back line that was provided for me.

Hey, they gave up on issuing numbers eight years ago at #195 I think so we'll start back up at #200
Official Aguilar Club - part 4

I'll go first. My #1 amp is an Aguilar TH-350. I don't own any of their cabs as I already own too many LOL but I hear they are killer too. OTOH it sounds great through any cab - or even as just a DI .

So who wants to be member #201 :)?

Full members list always available here in case I croak :wideyed::

Just got my AG 700 can I be in the club? I’m saving for the SL 4x10 next. The Ag sounds bigger and tighter than the little mark III I replaced it with. Not just bigger because of the headroom rather the notes seem to bloom more if that makes since abt the low end is tighter. love this thing

My DB750 went to the Dr last week. Had a "crackle" when it was bumped or if it was on a cab and a decent hard note played, it'd crackle.
I tried checking the pre tubes, and apart from altering the tone a fraction, the crackle remained.
I tapped a couple of parts, and found it was coming from the bottom rear "section".
To cut a long story.. ....

My tech, who isn't an Aguilar registered tech, was happy to take a look, and confirmed my thoughts that it was probably a solder join...
It was. And 12 hours after I dropped it off to him, he texted me saying it was ready!:hyper:
I picked it up the next morning, he had taken a couple of pictures of the faulty joints.
She's all up and running. Sounds gorgeous.
Used it the next eveningat a corporate function. Superb.... all round.
Huge pillowy bass. :bassist:
