sign me up. im running an ampeg svp pro tube pre into the fx loop of a peavey combo115. im a week away from purchasing a used 1000w peak, ampeg 4/10 from g center for $150!! its got a blown speaker from kids misusing it while on display.

also i had a question about an all tube power-only amp ( around $500) i saw in my carvin cat. its 100w w/ 4 power tubes and 4 pre tubes that run a presence controll for 2 channels. theres no pre controlls or eq, just power and presence.i realise its more of a home theater amp, but the ohms match up and i can run it bridged through my rig no prob. i bet it would sound tasty with my svp. what do you guys think? good idea? bad? -joep

If you could please sign me up, I have a late 70s (Magnavox era) Ampeg SVT head and for a backup I have a 1994 Ampeg SVT 3 Pro. I USED to have a V9 cabinet, but I'm getting older and traded it off for 2 Hartke 410XL cabinets. Please dont hold that against me.

Looks like this makes me #523.

This weekend I traded my 810E for an 810AV, so now my rig is complete =)

svt pro-6 with a 610hlf underneath

sounds wicked really loud if you push the gain up a bit, and gives an awesomely clean snarly rock tone! and add my metal muff pedal! sounds absolutely brutal!!!!
