But you should seriously consider changing your post text - you're a young guy, so I would imagine that you have never lost a fellow band member to substance abuse, if you ever have the unimaginable, gut wrenching, guilt ridden sorrow of having to go through this - you'll know what I mean, I'm not preaching - I just don't like to see you promoting this.

OK, I guess I am now an Ampeg guy after today I bought my first piece of Ampeg equipment.

I went to buy an Eden D410xlt for a great price and came home with a real "tank" I am now the new owner of an Ampeg PR-410HLF 1200w @ 4 ohms / 600w @ 8 ohms

Right now I am using an older HA4000 to run it so I can get all 400 watts if I need but I never do.

No problem, I appreciate your response, there are a lot of young talented guys on here that are the right/wrong age to be influenced toward the dark side of musical endeavours.

How do you like that Schector, is it a good combination with the Ampeg??, I've thought about trying one recently and they are a good price right now.

IMO the Scecter sounds amazing with the Ampeg, i am always getting a huge Amount and variety of tone out of it, no matter what the ocasion is or the song we are playing i can get the sound i want whether its a bit more on the treble side for that clean crisp punch or the more bassy side in which the combination of both produces an amazing growl

i think they go amazing with eachother and so does a couple other bassists that i hang around with and the price point is great (though i saw on the CG website that both the 4 and 5 string cost the same :hmm:)

I wanna join the club too, I have a svt 4 pro, I am planning on purchase a a 410 hlf , I did not yet cause in my country it costs about US$1500, a svt 4 like mine here cost about US$3.500, you really have to love the sound

Wouldn't it have been easier to just make a list of everybody who DOESN'T have any Ampeg gear?*

I've got mine: and MIT-era SVT head. Sorry, I don't have a good pic of it. I'll take one if necessary.

* Sorry if somebody already made that joke; I didn't read all 22 pages.
