I have the Ampeg B200R and LOVE it!!! We just started gigging, played a pool party, and this combo performed extremely well. Band members LOVE the tone and how LOUD it is.

I am vert happy with it, and it fits in my back seat!!!

Oh yes... like many of you I too know the sweet seductie delight of sitting at home late at night making sweet sonic love through the smooth clean sounds of an Ampeg ... and the thrill of standing in front of a group of strangers only to unleash your warm and bright tone, unadulterated for all to see... my first love.

:hyper: Finally!!!!!!!! the amp guy has finished modding my 1960 J-12 Ampeg. The preamp is specially designed for bass and a balanced line out will take me to the snake or an amp. At the flip of a toggle switch in the back it can be used as a guitar amp. The preamp is as near silent as you can get. The tone versatility resembles everything from the Reddi to Presonus. Just 2 knobs for the tone circuit and you can dial in any sound you want. It screams just going direct to the snake. We use B52 115 mons so they can handle the freqs. In the future I really want to couple it up to a Bergantino IP112. At the moment it is far surpassing my expectations. I know all this detail may not be necessary but this was originally an amp that my grandpa bought new and I'm busting at the seams to brag on it. The signal is studio quality and the tones are awesome. Grandpa would be jamming every day on this rig if he were still alive. I don't have any clips but when I get em I'll share em. Anyway, can I get in the Ampeg club?

Ampeg SVT 4Pro (Looks like the classic)
Ampeg 4x10 Pro Cabinet
Ampeg 1x15 Classic
(with a 600watt 8 ohm Carvin woofer)

I actually bought a Mesa 400+ thinking I wanted some tubey-goodness, then I found myself cranking the mids, trying to make it an Ampeg. I just need to buy the SVT2Pro and get it over with.:bassist:
