ampeg b-25 (circa 1969) custom cabinet w/ ampeg logo w/ altec/ampeg speaker
ill try and get some pics
Finally!!!!!!!! the amp guy has finished modding my 1960 J-12 Ampeg. The preamp is specially designed for bass and a balanced line out will take me to the snake or an amp. At the flip of a toggle switch in the back it can be used as a guitar amp. The preamp is as near silent as you can get. The tone versatility resembles everything from the Reddi to Presonus. Just 2 knobs for the tone circuit and you can dial in any sound you want. It screams just going direct to the snake. We use B52 115 mons so they can handle the freqs. In the future I really want to couple it up to a Bergantino IP112. At the moment it is far surpassing my expectations. I know all this detail may not be necessary but this was originally an amp that my grandpa bought new and I'm busting at the seams to brag on it. The signal is studio quality and the tones are awesome. Grandpa would be jamming every day on this rig if he were still alive. I don't have any clips but when I get em I'll share em. Anyway, can I get in the Ampeg club?
