Seems like there haven't been any Barefaced cabs in the classifieds for a while...is everyone satisfied with their BFs??
I am. In fact I have a second BB2 on order. Can't wait to stack them.

How do you like the power? Can you actually play in smaller venues with rock band using it?
I could play my pair of One 10s in any situation that a 410 would be enough, as long as we are not talking about pushing the 410 to the brink of surrendering the magic smoke. I am totally satisfied with these cabs-the lightest, most portable stack with old school tone. The only caveat is that I would not recommend them to someone who wants massive low end under 150Hz at high volume, or someone who needs glassy, modern highs.
Same here, my SuperTwin is amazing! Every so often, I wish it had a tweeter, even though I would most likely turn it off. {8^)
Just put in my order for a 2nd Super Compact. I'm giddy thinking about the massive sound I'll get from a stack of 2 of them! Currently I'm very satisfied with mine and sometime around mid May I'll be even more satisfied

Congrats to all who have ordered or received new Barefaced cabs. While we know what model you got, what I wonder is:
Silver cloth grill or black metal grill?
Would be interested in hearing from both newly minted and long-time Barefaced owners.
I have a silver cloth One10, and a black metal Big Baby II.
I got the BB2 first, used, here on TB, so I took what was available: black metal grill. But I prefer the silver cloth grill, so I got that when I ordered the One10 from Alex. My only dilemma (not really a dilemma) is-- if I get a Super Midget or a 2nd BB2, do I have them match the metal grill on my current BB2, or do I go for the look I like: silver cloth? Might be kind of a funny looking stack, one cloth and one metal. Still, I am inclined to get the kind I like-- if/when I use both BB2's (or BB2+SM) I will just have to live with the mismatch.

I'm sort of in the same boat. I got a metal-faced SuperTwin used but prefer the cloth grill look, as well as ANY weight savings at all! I would like a SuperMidget but not sure whether I'd get the cloth or metal grill.
There's no switching either, Alex assured me of that!

I use the SC in our practice studio and keep the ST at home and take it out wherever we gig. It's a perfect situation cause I never have to tear down my practice rig when we play out, it all stays in our practice studio

Is it possible to order just a grill? I've got two metal grills but had I bought them new I probably would have went with the silver grills.
Like map, it would seem unlikely you'd be using both the Super Twin and the Super Midget together; might as well get the silver cloth grill if you get a SM.

Seems like mostly metal grill stuff pops up in the classifieds though.
Current SC is black metal grill and the one I just ordered will be also.
I really like the look of the black grills. To me they make the cabs look more robust and business like. Not a fan of the sparkly look.
Only thing i dont like is the external handles on the smaller cabs, but i understand why they were used and they certainly do the job.
