The ST is wonderful even for Low B but the BT3 is on another level. I would recommend a High Pass Filter with the ST.

I was going to suggest a HPF with the BT3...
HPF's come in very handy for any regular live gig rig situation.
Hey all, currently a bf 410/810 user, but looking to try and downsize my rig due to some health challenges.
I've read through and searched, and wondered how many people had gone from the CRs to the XNs, and how you found the transition. Also interested in any big twin 3 user experience. I play in pretty loud doom band.

I did a small mod to one of my Super Compacts. If any of you have an older BF cab, you might consider doing the same.
Basically, a long time ago, I had to get under the grille to tighten a screw that had come loose and was causing a rattle. I have two SCs, which were purchased about 8 months apart. The older one, which is the one I had to get into, had a grille gasket consisting of foam tape. It stuck and shredded badly on the way out, necessitating me needing to be sent replacement tape in order to put the thing back together.
Fast forward a year or so, I had to get into the second SC to check something. I noticed that it, rather than having the foam tape, had a much nicer felt tape that came out and went back in smoothly. I emailed Alex commenting on this, and he said that it was a somewhat recent change that he wish he had made years ago.
Anyway, what I've just done is replace the foam tape on the older SC with felt tape according to specs provided by Alex (15mm wide, 3mm thick, adhesive on one side). I had to trim it to width in order for it to fit, but it was mostly painless. This should be a marked improvement for future serviceability.

Well, since some are asking, I bought a nice, used BF Big Baby ll locally. Doubt very much I will ever find another used, BB ll or 3 locally. This was a real unicorn locally.
So if anyone is moving to a BF 1x10, 2x10s, etc to go smaller, lighter and has a Big baby ll or 3 they'd like to sell, shipping to TX, Id sure be interested.

No experience with the Big Twin 3 or 5 string jazz, but just took delivery of my Super Twin w/no T. Its sound is BIG and Deep! Plenty of highs with no Tweeter. More highs than my EIGHT10, SIX10 or TWO10. And it does have a different feel than my 10's cabs. It's quicker. I haven't dug too deep yet, but I love it. Love the sound vs size! Can't go wrong with the Super Twin!
I just got hit with $160 in illegal terrif on my SMT I got in November last year, lol.
I played the gig last night with that 12" joker on a stand for the first time (upright bass) and boy howdy did that make all the difference in the world. The One10 really needs to be on the floor to get the bass right, but the 12 can BLAST on a stand without needing to couple with the floor, zero feedback concerns or boominess. It was so lovely. I've never had so much confidence in that difficult room.
I placed an order for a BF 1x10 cab last fall. I kept seeing the same price, shipping included, throughout the order process.
Not until I completed payment for my order via my chosen payment method did I see the total charge for this single, small cab.
An unexpected additional US-$170.00 was added to my total cost.
I thought I researched the BF site well in advance of my order and did not see where any additional costs may be incurred by me.
I don't blame the BF company as they may not be able to know what, if any, additional costs may be required when shipping items to any other countries.
I felt the price was too much for the small, single 1x10 cab. I also explained to BF when requesting my full refund that I did hope to instead order one of their 12" loaded cabs at a later date. Which I hope to do, if costs allow?

Just to be clear regarding this, all our prices are in UK £ (GBP), because we're a small UK-based company selling direct to all over the world so it's impossible to have prices in every currency. When you order from us our online shop then charges your card (or paypal etc) in UK £ and if you're based in another country your card provider/bank will convert that to your local currency, which in your case is US $. The price didn't change, just the currency did.

Played a gig with no FOH using the Two10S powered by Ampeg PF-20T...
And and?? Tell us how it filled up your space and the room. I love my ST, but am eying up the Two10
I play in that club regularly. It fits about 40 people. I usually use just One10 and it is sufficient (powered by class D amp). This time, I took the Two10 with me and powered it with the Ampeg all tube amp. The amp is only 20watts so I had to dime both the Gain and Volume controls. It put out enough lows to work with acoustic drums, two electric guitars and keyboards.
Thats the 80+ amp sim+ir loader I use primarily for the Omni (and ns cello not pictured) I can run bass/guitar amps in parallel and then go through the stereo fx. Theres a few signal pathway options you can do w/o moving any connectors. Sounds good!

After abit of back n forth, he gave me what I felt was a decent price plus shipping for a BB 3 he bought in 2023. Now I have a BB ll and BB 3 and I'm very happy with the results.
So yeah, asking here could work out. Thanks TBers.

A few years ago after reading so much about BF cabs on TB, I really wanted to try one.
I found a 1st Gen Big Twin-T cab w/cover in great shape on local CL in my area. Drove to grab it and it served me well for a few years more.
My more recent gigs just didn't allow me to use that big 2x12 cab. So it sat unused. After I found a Big Baby ll locally, I decided to sell the Big Twin-T.
After using the BB ll for a couple large room gigs, I felt a second 12XN loaded cab would allow me to almost get what I did from the Big Twin-T as some bigger gigs now allow for that type of volume. I probably could've just kept the Big Twin. But I do like the modular option I get with the two BF cabs now. Because I recently found a TBer willing to part with a very still new BF BB 3.
And I love the improvements made to the 3, though the BB ll really impressed me.
Ok now. I saw a convo somewhere on a BF thread where the material used to cover some BF cabs was abit "sticky" if you will.
In my case, I placed a piece of thin, rubber type shelf liner on top of my BB 3, under a 2U SKB rack case that houses a 1U, GK MB800+1U rack compressor. The 2U case Sat on top of my BB 3 in my spare bedroom for a few days.
When I went to remove the SKB case from top of my cab, the thin shelf liner left some residue stuck onto my BB 3.
I tried cleaning it off with just a warm damp towel. That material really stayed stuck to my cab. I stopped trying to remove it and just used a thick, black Sharpie to paint over those areas. In certain light you can see the Sharpie marks. So I'm very careful what items or materials I place on top of my BB 3. Don't recall having this issue with my BB ll cab.
Sorry for this very, very long thread. Bc I do love the sound out of both my BF cabs. So not dissin BF. Just wish the material covering the BB 3 would've settled down by now from being so tacky. Even the very nice factory cover that came this cab, still kinda sticks some as I slide the cover on/off. Not a huge issue at all. But it's abit annoying.
