Thanks and sorry to pepper you all with questions but I guess it's the way to do it. One last one: do changes take place when a foot switch is pressed down, or when it is released? That matters a lot for timing.

I'm *relatively* certain it's on press instead of release, but I would have to check.

Just checked - definitely on press and it’s a “soft” switch not a click switch.

Can the Eventide H90s EQ replace a dedicated highpass-filter (the Broughton "always on", in my case)? And what about compressors? Does anyone of you use the H90s compressor instead of a pedal compressor?

EQ is great, compressor seems ok but I’ve never used in a band context. But…if you mainly want a H90 for a high pass EQ and comp, I think it’s not the right pedal for you.

The eq comp is pretty good but I like my empress better for a number of reasons…
