Official JPBASSES Club

Hi All, just wondering if there are still some JPBasses owners/users here on TB? Care to share how the basses are holding up and what music you're playing with them?

Best regards from france
Peace,
JP
Got my Lucci 6 fretless last year. It's now my main axe. Beautiful for "acoustic" gigs with the piezo, and the electric side, with those Armstrong pickups is killer. It's set up with LaBella black tapewounds. With out a doubt the best bass I have owned. I did switch the tuners and the bridge to black USA Hipshot, but that's pure aesthetic....Sorry no current pictures. Maybe tomorrow

I'd love to know where your personal shorter scale 6 ended up, or did you keep it?
I've ended up playing 31.5" scale exclusively, which is the samw scale, if I remember correctly?

Hey Eude;

I've been literally hunting my baby since 2011 as I definitely want it back but no luck at all.
In 2007 I sold it to DSforever a former TB member from Japan. He disappeared from Internet. I imagined it could have been linked to Fukushima disaster but could find his precise living location back.
2 days ago I found a picture of my bass on facebook dated from January 2011 and posted by another japanese guy named "Jun Nagatsuka" saying "My Bass. JPBasses Zia 6 string. scale is 31 inch. walnut body is beautiful."
Tried to message him but got no reply. Tried to google him, no luck.

Oh mate, that is tough.
Could you make another? I know it might not be quite the same, but by your own hand it could be close?
That bass inspired me to have Alan at AC Guitars make me my first 31.5" scale 6er and I've never looked back.
I really hope you find it, or manage to get something similar, somehow.

Cheers,
Ewan
