That would be the most logical solution. I just don't like having two TTSB/RW/ and tort basses.
Also, my two JOs look near identical when the guards are on. Who doesn't like a little variety?
Evan, surely there's some bored neighborhoods kids who could get a lot of joy out of a couple cans of spraypaint and your bass... I say go for it and see what happens![]()

hey, what about Candy Apple Orange Juice ?
Might be the way to go! I've heard a quality refinish costs a pretty penny, maybe $500 +.That actually sounds really neat...
ha... no pink. I did get a quote for the refin, setup and pickguard and it's under 500. Just thinking about what to do. Any other unique or cool retro finishes out there?
I want the advice of the LOG on this one. First, here's a pic of my Fretless US JO:

As some of you could guess, I get the Jaco-clone comment at almost every gig. It gets bothersome, because a) I'm no Jaco and b) I am heavily influenced by more than just Jaco. Who knows if it's even cost me a few gigs? Sooooo, I want to get my fretless refinished. After seeing Ian's (artiseasy) 70's J in Antigua Burst, I've wanted a bass like that. Here is the mockup that Markus did for me (thanks, Markus!):

Chances are I'd also have my pickup cover on it as well... what do you all think? I'm definitely getting it refinished and I'm feeling this. Before this, I was thinking Oly White. Thoughts? Suggestions?
Personally (don't expect you to agree) I thought the antigua was a bad idea first time around and I still don't like it. Can't imagine a more wrong colour for any musical instrument.I really love the Antigua
Why not slap some ChiSonics on it?!
I don't know about that. I'll have a fretless with humbucking chis in a few months. I like my stock fralins. If I change the pickups, it will be to dark stars.
So, I'm thinking either the antigua, oly white or vintage white:

How about chocolate brown metallic?I don't know about unique, but surf green (darker than seafoam) does it for me. Then there's the ultra-rare Fender finish Maui Blue.
