SWEET! but...but....but it is NOT "metal flake brownie fudge with chocolate on top brown"?????

I LOVE that passive tone knob....should have had the guys install one on my 55-07...maybe it is not too late!!

BTW - saw it today (it is in getting the pickguard done etc)....Leo noticed a couple of slight dings (it is the propotype afterall)....he and Dan wanted to know if I still wanted it....what a question!!! I told them - "you bet"!!!

BTW - speaking of NAMM basses (per Evan) I (real briefly) played Bill Dicken's bass from NAMM....wow! the action was rediculously low!!!!

the ramps made a nice "clacking sound" that "almost" made me think I could slap!!!

Next time on the fudge flake! The tone knob is way usable!

This bass has the lowest action I've every had. Going to live with it for a while...and see if I want to raise it a little.

How do the humbuckers compare to the singles on your Decade?

Not as much high end on the buckers, but DAMN they are thick...I mean...wake up the neighbors and there dead dog buried in the back yard thick! When I'm running the buckers, with the LH3 flat, and switch to single mode, The high end gets defined, but I do need to bump up the low end a little. This bass really does it all. I've extremely impress with it. Those guys are so good it is ridiculous!

It looks like a Photoshop job come to life!!!

Very, very nice. It really doesn't combine lots of the best of everything. Switchable Chi's and an LH-3's and a Passive mode with tone control.

On another Chi note, I played one of my non-Lakland basses today for the first time since getting my JO5 CS, and it seemed like half tone was missing compared to the Chi's.

Congrats on that one!
