:eyebrow: flavor of the week for ya, that's all! So, how much you want for the Decade? Or that neglected JO that spent.... what... 5 minutes in your avatar? :scowl:

I'll give ya tree fitty for 'em, before that crazy Loch Ness Monster comes to take my money :D.
Bwahaha! One of my favorite South Park episodes.:D

I would say something about all your basses, Markus, but I have 6 myself.:hiding:

Four basses is not too much. Hell...tons of people have WAY more that that. You have three right? And two more coming?

I just got back from UPS, shipping off my '99 Fender..... so that leaves me w/ ............. 9 basses maybe, I'll have to look under the beds and in all the closets. I can see 4 from where I'm sitting, and 1 of my three guitars that I can't play worth a crap , except a little with my fingers, picks don't work for me. I've got a drumset in storage that I can't play too, and a keyboard in my daughters room. I'll post a pic from a while back when I had even more :rollno:.

Here's a pic from shortly after I got my first Lakland, and EVERYTHING BASS-RELATED, CHANGED!!! FOREVER!!!! I sold the EBMM SR almost immediately, the Squier jazz sold to a friend, the Peavey Cirrus 6ers fretted and fretless sold on ebay (miss 'em both :crying:), modded the 70's Aria jazz copy (FS in the classifieds), sold the black '85 Ibanez Musician on the 'bay, kept the yellowed one (lifer). Man, I need a new family pic! So much has changed! Went thru 2 Dingwalls since then too, a 5er and 6er pair of twins.

Oh, and that killer old Squier (said Fender on the headstock, kinda rare i think) '57 clone... I sold it on the 'bay.

i think i'm going to go to GC and see what strings they have if my JO5 set doesn't come in the mail today. i know they don't have a 5 string fretless set, but maybe they'll have some half rounds.

My prediction (in my best Karnak voice). They will have a 2x3 foot square section with a smattering of D'Addarios, perhaps containing a set of 5 string nickels. The rest are 5 different brands of 4 string stainless. :ninja:

Unless you have a good Guitar Center near you. Luckily, the Bass Exchange/Amp Shop is right down the street from GC and on my way home from work. They got it all!

lol i wish there were a bass store here...if there is, i haven't found it yet. i called them and they do have a set of d'addario chromes with a .132 B string. i had them hold em for me just in case.
:hiding:

so i went down to GC and got those d'addarios...what an utter failure, lol.

they are a different scale string. so not only does the wrapping extend well into the first fret, but the B/E strings also step down way before the nut. it doesn't matter if i top load them, either...same thing. :scowl:

le sigh.

the model of the strings in case anyone is wondering is ECB81-5
