I agree...and agree some more!!!

one of my favorite combos is blue quilting with abalone blocks on a maple (BEM) board - yes everyone maple......offsets the dark blue nicely.....someday.....IF there is a "scratch and dent one" out there (ha ha!!!)
 
...and delivered a dj4(ac). I put on some hibeams and straplocks and it´s ready to go. First impressions are: Very happy with it. Really nice neck and the bass balances nicely on the strap, kind of in an upright position (that I happen to like). It´s very alive and responsive and even all over the board. The Lakland pu´s sound great, the neck pu soloed is very usable and punchy, almost like a p. Taking it to two different reharsals tomorrow. Can´t wait to try it out with my rig.

very nice!!!! congrats!!! I am sure it will fit right in....did I say nice grain????? oh - yeh - that grain is very nice...did I tell you that already???
