I need a better pic of Ole Blue...

I think - get rid of the Fender...how long have you had it? if you have had it ANY longer than either of your Lakies....SHAME ON YOU!!!!

BTW - LPB BGs are hawt hawt hawt!!!

Glad I could help you with that - looking forward to my first Lakland!

welcome to our addiction Doug!!! yahoo!!!
You will LOVE it!

this was going to be posted later, but my fretless found a new home LATE last night in the land of Lefse and Lutafisk!!!

Just got the Paypal e-check notice today!!! whooot whoot! whoot!

part of a very interesting day (more later!!)

Here is a video of the band Sixwire, with my old friend John Howard on bass. The video is actually a NAMM promo for Taylor guitars, but I think John's Lakland sounds great too. Is it a US Darryl Jones 5 in sunburst?

as far as I know there has not been a US DJ5 yet.....there have been a few 3T burts DJ4's...I think this is a JO5...sounds GREAT!!!

Does this place give out numbers or what? I have no idea why I don't have a LOG number.

Here's me a little while back with my #1 Skyline Glaub which is a black with maple board. I have another one in sunburst and many others have passed through my hands as well. But the black and maple is my go to live bass.

It's an older model with the Fralin.

I will try and take a better picture later. There is an even stupider picture of me on the Lakland artists page. I really need to get that updated :)

NICE!!! you need to PM "Nubs" for a number...I think you have already seen www.laklndowners.com....if not, check it out!!!!

PS - its about time!!

So I had to go (drive) to Indianapolis today for a short project and had an interesting Lakland day:

1) Dropped J4's (HaPpYfAcE's) bass of at Lakland...had to be one of my fastest trips there! I was running late due to (TERRIBLE) Chicago Traffic so it was go in, drop it off and leave...no-one from Lakland "office staff" was there anyways (yet)....did not check out the back for fear of being weigh laid and being even more late!!!

2) got confirmation that my fretless has been paid for (yippeeee!) - see earlier post

3) auditioned a nice but mojo'd 55-94 fretless with Barts and flats....nice and light and the neck was uber sweet but something about it just did not make me swoon so...I passed.

on my way home tomorrow I am stopping by Lakland for a more lieserly visit ....want to talk to Leo and Carl about a few things (:ninja::ninja:) now that I have some cash from the sale of 2 basses....and I will try out the -76 to see what I think so I can report on how it compares to Ferg's....

all in all a good day!!!

PS - nice day for a drive (5 hours) as well and my client was prepared for me (a rarity!) so my time on site went very well overall!
