I have an '87 P Bass in LPB, and the '02 Glaub.... i think I'll dub them "The Step Sisters"

I need a better pic of Ole Blue...

Oh man, what the hell.
I was just about to pull the trigger on an outboard J-retro, when I stumbled upon the Raven Labs True Blue EQ. Of course, sudden GAS strikes again. What do YOU guys use for your EQ'ing needs?

I went through hell getting my Raven Labs headphone amp, paying a complete stranger on a random usenet group (googled "raven labs") with a purchased money order sent across the pacific ocean via express EMS shipping. I'm lucky I didn't end up in Tijuana.
But wow, what's this. Another rare item that'll be a PITA to get? I need it!

Why do men strive for that which they cannot obtain?

All onboard preamps for me.

Here is a video of the band Sixwire, with my old friend John Howard on bass. The video is actually a NAMM promo for Taylor guitars, but I think John's Lakland sounds great too. Is it a US Darryl Jones 5 in sunburst?
Looks like a Joe Osborne--it's got the full-size body and dots (rather than blocks or binding). Also, it's got VVT controls, which means it's probably a Skyline--US JOs normally come with stacked pots. (I haven't seen a good shot of the headstock yet.) It does sound very good!

ha! remember me make this question at the dawn of the Chi-era? It had been said that Lakland would make doubles with coil switching; however, due to different construction of the pickups it was unclear if they would do the S/H/S imitation similar to the 94/02 series. NOW is the time we settled this!.... yeah, who first :D

I plan on stopping by there tomorrow on my way home from Indy.....gonna speak to Leo :ninja::D

hey! Andrey's 55-07CS is on the way! I think it is through 3 months or so of waiting by now. Maybe I could talk him into changing the order!
well, MAYBE we could talk Dan into that too...maybe...

cool! why do you want to change the order???? too late...already routed......he will LOVE it - trust those (few) of us who have one now.....not TRYING to be snobbish.....sorry gang!!!

I want to be part of the MANY NOT the few......CHI it baby!!!

Cool!
My beloved one said I could start selling the Shoreline, she is okay with us adding some doe and getting us a new bass! Weeeeeeeee!
:hyper:

Hey guys, anyone got a nice 55-94 ebony fretless or a passive stacked Fralin JO5? Seem to be none on the TB currently.

what's it worth to yah?????

I know of an ebony fretless 55-94 with plenty of mojo and an "upright" sound if you are into that sort of thing!!

anyone selling a 55-02 deluxe? natural top-rosewood board??

you can find me here Invalid Link Removed

ooooohhh! good luck! hopefully you will find one!

post in the WTB and on the LOG web site (Link Removed) as well to cover all of your bases!

maybe you can wait a few weeks and I am sure Terry will have one for sale (he does not own one YET but wait for it.....(LOL!!!)

Does this place give out numbers or what? I have no idea why I don't have a LOG number.

Here's me a little while back with my #1 Skyline Glaub which is a black with maple board. I have another one in sunburst and many others have passed through my hands as well. But the black and maple is my go to live bass.

It's an older model with the Fralin.

I will try and take a better picture later. There is an even stupider picture of me on the Lakland artists page. I really need to get that updated :)
