Is bass and treble just 0 to 10 (just boost) and mid 10 to zero (just cut).
The way it's understood and the way it actually works is not the same thing. All three controls are only cut only. If all controls are set to 0, very little sound should pass.
I suggest playing with a model that shows you the response of a Fender tone stack. Here you go:

The mid control is pretty much a volume control. With bass and treble down, you get this response with the mid at 10.
If you vary the mid control, the contour stays exactly the same, but moves up and down.
The bass and treble controls are sort of an LPF and HPF. With the mid control at 0 and bass and treble at 5 you get:
The controls are interactive. If you turn up the treble, the mid scoop moves to a lower frequency and the lows start to decrease.
The bass and treble also interact with the mid control. As you turn up the mids, the mid scoop fills in and the overall level increases a bit. Since the mid contour reaches up high, it can be difficult to dial back the treble.
This is bass/treble at 5 and mids at 10
IME the flattest response with a actually Fender tone stack or a fairly true clone
Bass cracked open a hair, treble off (0), mids at around 7. If you are using clockface setting, 7 is probably about 3:00.
Just because an amp has a Fender tone stack does not necessarily mean it will be voiced and respond to inputs exactly like a Fender.
Orange uses different component values, so it's not 100% exact. But it's pretty close with some of them. The AD200B Mk3 is closer to the sound and feel of the blackface Twin I learned to play through than any other bass amp I have played.
