Do you have any idea about the difference in volume by any chance? I take it the Terror should be way louder than the AD200, which is unlike the name suggests only 180 watts.

Its isnt....thats what shocked me.

The AD200b Mk3 is one of the loudest amps Ive ever used. I quite like hair on my notes when Im using that amp, but when the gain is on 1/2-2/3 and the master is on 1/3, it is STUPIDLY loud. Massive heft in tone, (even through one OBC115!).

Hey, so, ye old OR120 is running hot. Real hot. As in, the faceplate gets hot to the touch & there's a faint smell of burning something in there.

I'm planning on bringing it in to the tech (obviously), but I won't be able to get there 'til Tuesday... anyone have any idea as to what's happening?

Last saturday I placed my Orange AD200B on top of an older Ampeg 610 with silver front that was part of the festival backline. Sound was good but I prefer the combination of OBC410 + OBC115...

I definitely think the Orange cabs work best with the Orange amp, as it is with most manufacturers. I used my AD200b Mk3 with an 810E and I preferred the Orange cabs.

The white is uber cool, as is the Big Al.

Just got a BT500 and OBC115 (black tolex) is on the way. I use the BT500 through a Schroeder 2x12 pretty good, but not the vintagey tone I'm looking for. I'll post pics when I get the cab.

I bought the Terror Bass around a month and a half ago, man it packs a serious punch!! Been considering getting an Orange cab to pair it with.

I use an SP212 and an OBC 115, and together or alone both cabs sound great with my Terror.

Rly? I remember ampeg as being cleaner than the Orange sound. Ampeg sounds too perfect to my liking. I like the dark low mids of the Orange amps.
