OK. Lets go OT. In the picture I noticed you use Aviom for personal monitors. Do you use an amp rig on stage as well?
What IEM's are you using?

I'm using the Ultimate Ears dual-driver in ears. I have custom molds, but they don't work as well for me at the triple-flange tips, so that's what I use. I'm not using a rig when I'm on ears - while I *like* to feel my bass, it's worth the sacrifice in order to clean up the FOH sound in a hall. I'd prefer to use the Shure E5's, which have better low-end response (and we're getting some, so I get the next set).

IMHO...I think it is extremely classy that Roscoe has a military band player as an endorsing artist. Speaks volumes about the company that makes our favorite basses and obviously your playing as well.

I couldn't agree more! Keith, Gard and company are truly a class act, and like I told Gard the other day, I'm honored to be associated with them!

How can it get any better? Lay-buyed my first Roscoe on the way home tonight, then, after spending some quality time with my wife and daughter, I get to check out some cool pics and some ridiculous Roscoe (and beer) related antics on this very forum. Sweet.

Hopefully, can sell a few other things quickly, so I can pay off my new SKB-3005 with cedar body, burl-maple top and cocobolo board, and get some action shots happening!

We just added some more pics and a few videos to our facebook page. Audio quality is terrible (we were way too loud for the camera mic to handle, apparently.....), and the playing is even worse. In our defense, I will say that these were taken later in the night, and the shots were really flowing from the bar that night. I lost track of how many rounds the bartenders sent up to us..........

Doing the corporate thing down in Fresno. It was 88-degrees inside that hangar, so fortunately we got to roll up the sleeves and leave the suit coat in the car. In this pic I believe I'm quoting the Cm7-Cm6 movement from "Ladies Night." Yep, that's what qualifies for jazz in my world.

We had to move the Journey tune down into a range where Dane can sing it oto be honest, I don't even know where the original key of the song, I've never taken the time to actually learn it, I just followed along at practice with what the other two were doing).

The wife and I are going to pick up an actual video camera, so we can get some better quality video than what these digital cameras are capable of doing. Then maybe I can actually get a couple clips of my 6 string in action, too. And probably a few of me singing, usually out of tune.

Ha! A m6 isn't the easiest to play, huh? I don't think God intended us to play such a chord on an instrument tuned in fourths. Ahhh...if only Gary Willis had something to worry about.

For the record....low-to-high, that voicing is C-Eb-A. The pinky is just hanging out, waiting for the movement back to Bb for the m7 chord.

These photos are from a performance this past Wednesday. The buddy (drummer for Jesse Blaze Snider) flew in from New Jersey to do the show. No rehearsal, just rock. We were rough, the room was awful and everybody had a great time. My LG is just Pure American Muscle!
