Woodchuck, I agree. I started the "Roscoe Official Beer Snob" thread in a way to convert the lost souls of decent beer. So far, not a big success....

'Chuck, me & the Hoppah (Bipslapper) have been trying with all our might to educate the unwashed masses...sadly, the brainwashing by the "big breweries" is difficult to overcome. My favorite fact to hit them with:

Bud has more calories per ounce than Guinness.



It also has the benefit of having something called TASTE.

I'm with taylor16, at least in that The Nadurra is where it is at as far as Glenlivit's offerings are. I prefer Islay malts myself, enjoying the last of my Talisker lately along with Caol Ila.

As for Bud Light, well... we've tried before but I'm willing to let Ryan and Greg off at this point. When I was in Blacksburg recently Greg took me to a fantastic restaurant that among other things, had Chimay on tap (and of course, BL in bottles).

Slightly on topic-

Ive had it confirmed from a Budweiser rep( he was in gainesville recruiting engineers to manage a production plant in Jacksonville. )

Natural Light is created from "bad" batches of bud light.

Always made me wonder what else they do.

It also explained why natural light always tasted different to me.( forgive me- I was a poor college kid. We didn't care about flavor.)
