The Polyfusion. I never changed it. I was the second owner of the bass, but had it for a few years. That particular wood/pickup combination sounded very good with the Polyfusion, though if I had kept it I still would have put an East preamp in it I think.

I am a big fan of that pickup arrangement, though.

Chris, i know you've talked about this before but tell me again why you liked the East vs. the Polyfusion? I'm looking to change the poly to the Bart pre as soon as Joe gets back into town, but the East intrigues me, especially with what Pete Skjold is doing with the East pre's
