Actually, you can polish a turd to a high gloss. It's form of art in Japan. For real.
And, I am eating some tasty fajitas as I look at this. It does'nt bother me, but I did do sewer and septic work for a long time.
If Oscar the Grouch played bass, that's what he would be playing.
Of course it's a form of art in Japan. I really do believe this. Because it's Japan.
Did they find any more polyps? Hopefully, this one was benign...
I honestly gotta say that I'd have fun restoring this bass...I love projects like this.
A grand for a 5 string MIM that looks like someone used it to paddle a kayak through a sewer?
Who knows maybe this adds something to the tone...could be the best playing bass out there. As sugars are washed out of the cellulose fibers of the wood and replaced with fecal matter, the wood becomes denser and emanates full, rich tones and increased sustain. Also, it smells like sh*t.
That's what my underwear looked like when i drank the water when i was in MEXICO!!
