Borrowed a bass, lowered the bridge action, also detuned & took some tension off the D and G strings to raise it back up a little, and now the bridge seems to have wandered eastward. I'm new to upright, but not to electric.

If I loosen the string tension overall will the sound post move?

Whats the best way to move the bridge back over to where it needs to be without more worms crawling out of the can?

Thanks.
