The neck is too thin for my taste, you can barly see it.

I've played one exactly like this before. Gotta say I was disappointed... the neck is nothing but dead spots, serious dead spots. Still construction and other factors are about what you would expect for the $$$

I was thinking about this, and it seems like it might make a good project guitar, sort of like what people do with Brice basses. You would just want to replace a few things with better components. Like the pickups, strings, body, neck, hardware, wiring, input jack... a few hundred dollars later you might have a decent back up instrument.
