Yeah, I don't find, as I peruse the site I linked, a real sense of "hipster-dom" as much as I find snarkiness in what is implied of the people living in such dwellings (aging hipsters?)...I actually like the houses, and the spartan-ness...I think in a way it is much more indicative of metrosexuals and whatnot, or hip-upper middle-classiness more than so-ho / Williamsburg style hipster-dom...

Oh well, the site is neat, and the captions are funny, and the o0ther site I linked more appropriate to hipster youth...

There's many A Frame and Modified A Frame homes near the ski areas that are all glass in the front and half glass in the back.

I really like the Graystones's home on the show Caprica. Now THAT is a cool, glass home!!

My Sis in Law has a house very similar to those on a golf course across town. It actually feels weird being so exposed. I like to be able to walk around anywhere in my house in my underwear, scratching my boys

My house is glass all across the front (its a rental, so can't put curtains up).

At first you feel weird, but you get used to it


My quarrel with those expensive houses right on the golf course is, what if someone is really bad at golf?

They get hit every so often. The glass is really thick and the balls just bounce off. No broken glass in over ten years.
