He's just noodling, not performing.
Without watching, I'm betting that's the clip where he plays the same lick for 5 minutes straight! If these crappy vids do indeed depict what has happened then I must just remember how it used to be.
I'm not really into the lookin up youtube type but I found this too. Does not even seem like him. I'm actually shocked by this stuff. Too many people with a camera.

This wasn't bad at all. Paul was always a good functional bassist. Doesn't seem to have lost too much. Here's another of my fallen idols who created some unforgettable bass lines:
Yikes!! I still LOVE Verdine, regardless! Hey created the inimitable bass line to "That's the way of the world" which I still have trouble with.

I'm not mad at this one. He's just teaching a song.
I AM!! If he's gonna teach, let it be(no pun intended)the basslines to "Hey Bulldog" or "Something", any piece worthy of his greatness, not root notes and "I think I think I did, doo doo doo....".![]()
LOL! Or that bridge part on "Tax Man".

Thank YOU, that was amazing!! IMO Verdine was just rolling over and playing dead in that NAAM video. He's still got it!!![]()
here's another "TERR-A-BULL" video of Verdine.
(sorry guys)
