Looks like you gotta change your avatar to reflect the new bass!
Pretty much any MIK Hondo/ Epiphone will have that style bridge, as far as I can tell...
Here's the headstock of mine:

Brass nut, brass bridge, even the truss rod cover and headstock inlay are brass. The rear control cavity cover matches the grain of the bass. Beautiful, good sounding, well put together basses.
Passive electronics. Action can be set very, very low.

It's an 83 also. Never knew how to date one. Thanks for the info.
Those bridges do look close (other than not being completely brass). Can't tell if they are string through.
I love where the input jack is. Crafty input jacks are my thang.
yeah...me too, although i have to get used to it again. it's making me feel like when i was a virgin.
and apparently the numbers after that are the production run, mine being 0387, so #387 of '83. although it's not clear if that was just basses or the entire line (guitars and basses).

Information is kinda limited on Daions. I will check it out.
Yeah, I do have a few instruments. I even have more than what's listed, but they are guitars and such.
My last three numbers are 709.
Glad you like the Shameless Dave stuff. Thanks.
Man, you have a beautiful instrument. I'm sure you will enjoy it. Congrats.
