Ohms and all that... a quick question.

Really sorry to be asking this as I should know but I'm stumped. I've just got a Peavey 4x10 cab rated at 8ohms (350/700w as per the later 410tx and tvx models) and an old 2x10 SWR Goliath Junior rated at 200W/4ohms. I'm hooking it up to a Trace Elliot GP7 SM which has two outputs on the back, each stating "Speaker 8 Ohms".
Now I know the Peavey 4x10 will be OK as I've seen it running with this head, but if I hook the 2x10 will things go bang / burst into flames / my wife leave me etc?

I know, stupid question and I deserve to be flamed for it but I honestly don't know the answer.

Any help appreciated.
