Oils???

Hi everyone

I need some advice about cleaning fingerboards.
I currently own a 6 string Warwick Corvette (I am pretty sure it has wenge fretboard). What should I use to clean it. Will Dunlop Lemon Oil do???
I also own a Fender Deluxe Active Jazz bass ([Invalid or Expired Link Removed]). It has a maple neck, what product should I use for this? I have heard that lemon oil is not good for it.
Because my country does not have many music stores, I prefer to order from Thomann

I would be really grateful for all the answers

I wouldn't use any kind of oil on the maple fretboard, especially if its sealed with a poly finish. Just wipe it down with a soft cloth. As for the wenge, if it looks super dry you could give it a light pass with something like Music Nomad F-One oil. That will also help clean it, but if its just dirty, try just wiping it down with a microfiber cloth.

everybody knows fire is the most effective cleaner for pesky fretboard dirt.

The only time I clean a fingerboard is when I change strings. And because it's so dry here, I use mineral oil to raise up the funk, and wipe it dry. As for routine cleaning, never.
