FYI the bass at the beginning of the video uses the bass chorus mode on the Mod 11, which is modeled after the Bass Clone with the x-over active. You can hear a bunch of (mostly guitar) samples below, last one is that bass part solo'd.

I wasn’t overly impressed with the sound in the official demo video for the Mod 11. But if the quality of its effects are anywhere near as good as those in the Oceans 11 (which I own) then this is going to be one very nice pedal to have on your board.

Intriguing, though, in my opinion, they are a bit too generous with the depth control in this demo.

Now I perfectly well understand they do this to demonstrate how the effects sound, but it really give a poor impression on how they would sound more moderately applied.

I also get that it's hard to make a good demo of a pedal with so many features if you don't want it to drag it out too long, putting the listener's patience to a test, so I am looking forward to some more in depth demos of it, hopefully one exclusively used with bass as well, cause the Mod11 does definitely seem promising, even if I am personally not in need of such a pedal and probably not am going to buy one.

I also think that the best that has come out of this format so far is the Grand Canyon delay, which I am definitely still planing to get at some point, about the ultimate delay pedal ever made as far as I am concerned (yes, I know there are other delay pedals with as many features, but most of those are also more expensive, and I just really like the design of the Grand Canyon, both in terms of how it works and visually).

Could be interesting if EHX eventually made a similar bigger version out of the Mod11 as well.

I dig it. I still believe the small chorus is the best bass chorus ever made. And the rest of these def look dope. I would've gotten the bass small clone and this already but the fact is, I just don’t need them. The HX effects fills these roles for me and so much more. But def looks and sounds great.

At max depth the tremolo does go all the way to zero volume.

As for your second question, yes, all modes and secondary knob controls set when in a certain modulation type are remembered upon going to a different modulation type and coming back to the first one. It's all remembered upon power cycling as well. Only will be reset if you manually do a factory reset.

I like that the oceans 11 does this as well. Pretty nifty if you decide to change modes a lot!

Bumping this back up. So, has anyone taken the plunge on one of these? Been looking for a good, straightforward, easy to use multi-mod pedal that won't break the bank and sounds good with bass. Not too tall of an order , but this one looks promising.
