Ok, i've got two basses that i'm thinking of getting, a squier p-bass special and an epiphone thunderbird goth bass.

    The squier:

I'm REALLY stuck on what to get guys, price isn't really an object so i'm looking for quality of build, ease of playability, and the sound.

Sound-wise i like something thats not really fat and not really harsh either, i like it so be smooth, no really booming lows or really crisp highs, i just like level lows and level highs.

    HELP!!!!

I like different basses - I'd get the T-bird. You can adjust the sound with strings. I've always like their look!

If you had a third option, I'd vote for the Squier Vintage Modified TB Precision Bass Guitar (the now well-regarded '51 P clone).

I tried one a couple of weeks ago, and the neck had a not so great feel about it, felt kinda flimsy. Could have been a pour setup.
