One of my dear friends was introducing me to a friend of his. He proceded to ask if I played bass. I said yes. He then asked me if I had ever considered getting people to pay me 50 bucks to sit outside the door of their bedroom and slap bass while they..... *ahem*.... you get the picture. So. Does anyone have anything to top this?

Did you get paid the $50 and then slap something while they got it on? That would be weird, no matter what you were 'slapping.' Talking about it on an internet forum... not so weird.

No. Typically I get paid $100+ to listen to my guitar player wank off.

I've actually (kinda) done this.

First year at university. My housemate's bedroom was right above the kitchen and it was the first night together for him and his new gf.

Soooooooo ... as a little surprise to add to the mood, a few other people in the house and I rolled my Trace 4x10 combo into the kitchen and lifted it onto the top of the fridge with the speakers pointed at the ceiling. Then with a borrowed wah pedal, lots of volume and the cheesiest slap line I could think of .... :D

He thought it was hilarious, she didn't talk to me for about a week. That riff still gets a cheer if any of my uni mates are at a gig.
