Ok time for a 5 string =)

really does come down to which one feels BEST TO YOU as well as which is going to make you want to play.

that said, I'll give my 2 cents towards Yamaha, their entry level basses are the best on the planet. Maybe not the most flash but they are as solid as all get out! :)

and welcome to fivedom! :smug: ...... I'm gonna be stepping back into the land of 6 soon....... that'll be fun :bassist:

well i suppose you guys are right i should try out the Squier and the peavey..Though too bad my local stores dont carry Brices.

But i still have a question(excluding the Yamaha, because its a bit over my budget):
1.Which has the best components
2.And which would be the most versatile.

I think i have my mind set on the Brice, because it has that passive/active pull tap, and it looks nice.
But that squier has normal string spacing i think and i love the look of it.
I dont like many things about the peavey, id imagine that it has the better pick ups out of the other two correct?

And for the last question, Which bass would last longer ?

EDit: well i've read the reviews about the squier, and it seems to be promising...Wow this bass buying business is tough.
